I help adults and teens (16+) who want to be their true and authentic selves but are experiencing barriers and challenges in doing so. I work with people facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem, life transitions, smoking cessation, stress/burnout, substance use, or issues in their intimate partner or other relationships.

Feeling stuck is no fun. I understand and can help. We’ll work together on identifying your personal values and strengths. We’ll explore old patterns and habits that might be creating roadblocks on your path forward. Using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness-based approaches, I’ll help you move from “stuckness” towards personal growth and fulfillment.

I’m a skilled and collaborative counselling therapist with over a decade of experience in mental health and substance use work. I have a Master of Education in Counselling (M.Ed.) and a Registered Counselling Therapist (RCT) and Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC).

I help adults (18+) create meaningful and lasting change in their lives. People often start counselling therapy because they feel stuck due to issues and challenges they’re facing. I work with people of all genders and affectional/sexual orientations experiencing effects of anxiety, depression, stress, grief and loss, worry/fear, relationship challenges, or substance use. I offer focused support for 2SLGBTQ+ community members in an affirming, safe, and inclusive space.

Life can feel overwhelming. I’ve been there and understand. Together, we’ll work on exploring your strengths, skills, and knowledge that can help you create change that’s important to you. We’ll use narrative therapy as a foundation for our work and draw on solution-focused therapy, cognitive-behavioural therapy, and music therapy to help you enjoy greater self-awareness, self-empowerment, and well-being.
